Adriano Goldschmied is making up for lost time. After 15 years since its last collaboration—pants for the leading men of Entourage in 1997—the denim brand has announced three new partnerships.
The first starts immediately. The label has produced apparel for Travis Mathew, a men’s golf brand, and starts shipping this month. But the more exciting ventures (well, at least for us ladies), don’t begin until next year.
In January, the company will debut its "Stylist Series," starting with a 14 piece range created by celebrity stylist Cher Coulter. The collection will be divided into four sections—"Eclectic," "Rocker," "Classic" and "Sex Bomb"—inspired by her famous clientele, which includes Elizabeth Olson, Nicole Richie, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and JewelMint co-designer, Kate Bosworth. (Have any guesses who goes in which category? ‘Cause we do.) Everything will cost between $200 and $300 and be available in a variety of department, specialty and AG stores. The special collections won’t end with Coulter, though. When her stint is finished, Adriano Goldschmied plans to continue the project with other well-known tastemakers.
“We weren’t settling on celebrity stylists only,” Sam Ku, AG’s creative director, told WWD. “We also want artists who act as stylists on the collaboration.”
A month later, a 15 item capsule line made with Liberty fabrics will be released, marked from $200 to $275. Unlike the "Stylist Series" however, these pieces will be available in much smaller quantities and for one season only.
