Before there were Cara, Jourdan and Georgia May, there was another It Brit supermodel who dominated everything from catwalks to campaigns. The mid-2000s brought us Agyness Deyn and with that, a whole new revival of the model’s signature tailored, androgynous style. Meanwhile, Aggy’s spiky blonde hair inspired a sweeping wave of pixie cuts, too.
After the Agyness-inspired spike in 2007, menswear-inspired looks fell out of favor for a brief time—but now, the look’s most certainly back. To that end, her forthcoming collection couldn’t have come at a more suitable time. We suppose that four seasons of collaborating with Dr. Martens have primed the 30-year-old model to launch a brand all her own, which is dubbed Title A and is set to launch in March.
According to WWD, Title A will focus on exactly what we’d expect from Agyness, including well-cut basics and excellently tailored overcoats. As for price points, we can expect anything in the mid-range field of $100 for a clean, cropped tee to $625 for a wool topcoat. With four collections a year currently on the docket, Title A plans on growing, and fast—the brand plans to expand its wholesale business in the future. Everything will be available at TitleA.com.
