Confession: I love to color. Yes, I know it may sound strange coming from someone who’s been an adult for longer than she’d like to admit, but it’s the truth. I have a ton of coloring books at my house, including one called My Wonderful World of Fashion (Barneys, $19.95), one called the Indie Rock Coloring Book (Wal-mart, $6.01) and another featuring Charlie Harper’s famous bird illustrations (Barnes & Noble, $6.25). I find the act incredibly cathartic—especially because you don’t have to be an artistic genius to do it.
That being said, I’m pretty thrilled by what Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz cooked up for us in honor of the latest issue of Lucky Kids. The wildly talented illustrator created an adorable image of a girl in Lanvin Petite, a kids collection that hits stores next January.
You can download it here. And while we’re sure your little one(s) will appreciate the pretty picture, don’t be ashamed to color a copy. I’m definitely planning on it.
