Karlie Kloss is part supermodel, part fashion chameleon—and in our opinion, it’s the latter trait that’s really helped her rise to the top.
Able to instantly transform herself from a cookie-baking St. Louis girl to a fierce runway creature with laser vision, she can mold her look to nearly any setting. Last night, Kloss slipped effortlessly into the role of a fancy Upper West Side lady at the American Museum of Natural History’s 2013 Museum Gala. Alongside her date, fellow Missourian Derek Blasberg, she rocked an elegant, satin-skirted Roland Mouret gown from the designer’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection.
Other notable attendees included the entire SNL cast—former superstars (ahem, Tina Fey) and current Weekend Update cohost Cecily Strong among them. We also spied Florence Welch in an ornate Valentino gown that made our heart flutter.
