Unsurprisingly, 20-year-old songstress Ariana Grande won big at last Saturday’s Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles for reasons extending beyond the actual ceremony. While she did walk away with an award—"blimp," rather—for favorite TV actress for the Nickelodeon series Sam & Cat, she also showed up in a sleek hairstyle that strayed away from her signature ponytail.
But, it was her CatDog- and Hey Arnold-accented Chanel bag that truly stole the show. Look, the KCAs are slightly out of our age range, but that certainly doesn’t mean we can’t relish the ’90s nostalgia in a Karl Lagerfeld-approved manner.
It’s also worth noting that Miss Ariana was all of five years old when The Rugrats Movie so gloriously hit theaters in 1998. Does that make her just a little too young to truly appreciate the Regina George precursor that was Angelica Pickles? We just really hope this masterpiece didn’t get slimed.
