She’s already got a clothing line with Kohl’s and three best-selling fragrances to her name; now, Avril Lavigne’s putting her stamp on the white-hot nail art trend. The singer is set to release a limited-edition collection of colorful polish strips for Sally Hansen Salon Effects, whose no-dry-time DIY mani kits are a favorite among Lucky staffers.
Avril will design 12 graphic kits for the brand, including skull-patterned and leopard-spotted varieties, with each retailing for $9.99. No word on whether her once-signature neckties will serve as a manicure motif as well. And next up, Avril hinted that she’d like to work on a hair color collection—a natural next move for anyone who’s seen the punky pink and blue highlights she favors for concerts and awards shows.
Sounds like our beauty regime is about to get a little more complicated.
