I’ve spent many a night cursing glitter nail polish as I vigorously scrub, scrape and pry its unyielding particles off my fingers. Yet still, every time I walk into a salon, I find it difficult to resist its eye-catching twinkle. Glitter nail polish and I have had quite the love-hate relationship, but that’s all about to change.
OPI recently launched a "Glitter Off" base coat that promises a hassle-free removing process, and guess what? It really, really works! To test its claims, I painted a thin coat on each nail before applying "Let’s Do Anything We Want!", a pink glitter polish from the brand’s new "Muppets Most Wanted" collection. A few days later, when I was ready for a more understated manicure, I gently peeled off the glitter in one fell swoop. It didn’t pull or strip my nails or leave any residue behind. And the best part? The whole two-hand process took just a few minutes. Mind blown.
