Just in time to coincide with next Tuesday’s release of Best Coast’s sophomore album The Only Place, the band’s lead vocalist Bethany Cosentino has teamed with Urban Outfitters on a collection of sweet separates and dresses. Created especially for the chain’s Urban Renewal label, the pieces are both inspired by and made from vintage fabrics. Best of all, everything’s under $100.
A former fashion student, Bethany’s known within the indie rock community for her love of Cali-inspired clothing—crop tops, high-waisted shorts and lace dresses—and that’s apparent in her designs for Urban Outfitters. We’re particularly feeling the varsity-influenced Frank jacket and the very Coachella-appropriate Jenny romper. There’s even a cape mixed in amongst the offerings, a trend we’ve been seeing more and more of lately.
And while the clothes won’t hit brick-and-mortar UO stores until Tuesday, the line’s already available for purchase on Urbanoutfitters.com. So why not get a head start and shop some of our favorite pieces in the slideshow below?
