Great news: Opening Ceremony just added an ENTIRE FLOOR to its NYC flagship on Howard Street. And we’re salivating at the what this means product-wise. Not only is the space tricked out in typical Opening Ceremony style (hello, ostrich jewelry case), but it houses merchandise from designers such as Rodarte, Altuzarra and Mary Katrantzou.
Included in the area is a completely functional kitchen, which also serves as the company’s book and music store, packed with indie mags, records, sketchbooks and agendas. Watching over the nook is the face of an Argentine cougar, in honor of O.C.’s currently featured country.
We think the unconventional touches and extra space really improve (if possible!) the O.C. shopping experience. Here’s hoping that Carol Lim and Humberto Leon eventually just take over the entire building. Viva la Opening Ceremony!!
