With a rooster of celebrity clients and a reality show airing in January, Brad Goreski seems to be everywhere these days. Now, the former assistant to Rachel Zoe is adding another gig to his impressive resume: Kate Spade‘s exclusive brand stylist.
WWD reports that Brad will occupy this position for two years and aid creative director Deborah Lloyd with campaigns, press events and presentations. "The brand is known for its accessories and their ready-to-wear is fairly new and [it’s] Deb’s baby," he told the paper last week. "We see so many people carrying the bags and the accessories. It’s my hope to get the ready-to-wear out there and see it more on the streets and see people playing with it and making it their own."
Since we’ve come to know Brad for his dapper suits and bowties, we think his playfully preppy aesthetic will complement the company’s bright prints and girly silhouettes. We’re excited to see how he goes about growing the brand, especially since this is the first big project we’ve seem him do outside the world of Bravo television. What do you think about Kate Spade’s choice? Do you think Brad will be a good addition to their team?
