When Calvin Klein first launched its legendary Eternity fragrance in 1995, Disney’s Pocahontas was the queen of the box office and Windows 95 was taking over chunky hard drives everywhere. A lot has changed in the last 19 years, but one important aspect has remained the same: the supermodels that dominated the fashion industry back then are just as relevant today.
Take Christy Turlington, one of those premier ’90s supes, who first began modeling for Calvin Klein 25 years ago, for instance. Last July, the brand brought the 45-year-old model back for a stunning underwear campaign, and now it’s re-releasing its iconic "Eternity" ad, originally shot in 1995. Featuring a fresh-faced Christy and equally dreamy Mark Vanderloo, the campaign will be reissued in honor of Eternity’s 25th anniversary. Only this time, the ad will appear with a new, sharp caption, "Time can’t touch us. Celebrating 25 years."
While we’re not dermatologists by any means, it’s safe to say that Christy seemingly hasn’t aged a day since her original Calvin days. We’ll have what she’s having.
