Supermodel-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne has long been discussing her desire to eventually leave the world of the catwalk to venture into the one of stage and screen. A wild child with a myriad of talents (nabbing front-page headlines certainly among them), the 21-year-old may be making moves on her acting goals sooner than we all thought: she’s about to make her television acting debut, Storm Model Management confirmed today.
The supe will star in a TV play, called Timeless, on the prestigious British network Playhouse Presents as a young woman whose fiancé is on a tour of duty in Afghanistan—which, over the course of the play, brings her closer to her grandmother, played by acclaimed British actress Sylvia Syms.
"It’s a really touching story and I’m really honored to be working with Sylvia in a one-off production of Playhouse Presents," Cara told British Vogue. "This will be my first time working in television drama and I am excited by the opportunity."
Timeless will be broadcast in England on June 19, but there’s no word yet on how we in the U.S. will be able to watch ourselves. We’ll keep you posted, though, so that all Cara’s American fans can see her—and her eyebrows—in action.
