Coach is celebrating its 70th anniversary in Asia this year with an unforgettable art exhibit. The brand has commissioned seven photographers to shoot creative images of its iconic bags. The only stipulation? "They had to relate to New York City," president and executive creative director Reed Krakoff told WWD. "Where Coach was born.”
Settings for the images include the Empire State building with King Kong (Chen Man), Coney Island’s Wonder Wheel (Mika Ninagawa) and—but of course!—Central Park (Reed Krakoff). Tomorrow they debut in Tokyo before heading to Beijing for a party with the face of Coach’s global ad campaign, Gwyneth Paltrow. Here’s hoping they have a showing in the US!
