Although you’ll be seeing lots of clothes, bags and shoes worth saving up for this coming NYFW, you can actually shop for designer items right now without denting your wallet. In fact, you don’t have to take it out at all: from February 7-9th in NYC, Marc Jacobs is hosting the Daisy Tweet Shop, pop-up where all transactions will be completely based on the person’s crafty use of Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with the hashtag #MJDaisyChain. The specific rate of tweets to goods hasn’t been released yet, but we do know that Daisy fragrance samples will be up for grabs, along with the chance to get an amazing Marc Jacobs handbag.
This concept is definitely a first—and one that totally speaks to our social media savvy generation. The Tweet Shop will also be a place you can sit back and relax with Wi-Fi (obviously), a Daisy beauty bar, photo booth and music by DJ Jilly Hendrix. It also coincides with the debut of their new fragrance campaign for Daisy directed by Sofia Coppola.
The pop-up shop is located in SoHo at 462 West Broadway and will be open to the public on February 7-9 from 11 am to 12 pm.
