After teaming up with German artist Anselm Reyle for a collection of camouflage printed accessories, the French label has launched a temporary store in Miami. The entire capsule line is exclusively available (until January 9th when the items hit select stores worldwide) and ranges from $310 to $4,500. Additionally, customers will receive complementary manicures, French pastries and coffee in the 3,100 square foot flourescently colored space.
The mini boutique will also host a series of events with multiple guest DJs appearances (including Harley Viera Newton, Mia Moretti). A photobooth and gaming tables (foosball and pinball) will also make an appearance during the parties.
For a brand steeped in a traditional French femininity, this move is an unexpected departure. However, why shouldn’t the design team have a little Florida fun? The pieces certainly play well to the city’s glamourous club scene.
In an interview with WWD, Dior’s deputy general manager, Delphine Arnault, summed up the project in three words: "It’s fun, no?"
