If you’re looking for a guaranteed way to make a lady of the ’90s get emotional, simply play her a surprise message from one of the Spice Girls. While promoting The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro in Sydney, Australia this week, Emma Stone was brought to tears when interviewers 2DayFM press play on a video from Mel B. Could you blame her?
"Oh my God, is Mel B talking to me? I’m going to cry," gushed the 25-year-old actress. "I’m so excited, I am legitimately crying. I am the biggest Spice Girls fan ever."
The pièce de résistance, though, was Emma’s "punishment" for favoring Baby Spice: "I want you to do a rendition of one of the Spice Girls songs." This, of course, she does with a slightly teary-eyed rendition of "Wannabe."
