Honestly, we’re just about this close to pre-ordering our IMAX tickets for the biblical epic Noah thanks to the film’s leading ladies. It’s not often we see a promotional tour in which every red carpet look trumps the previous one—and it’s not often we see that phenomenon occur with not just one, but two female stars.
The cast members in question, Jennifer Connelly and Emma Watson, have been causing our jaws to plummet for several sartorially awesome reasons, including but not limited to: Nicolas Ghesquière’s first custom piece for Louis Vuitton, a Saint Laurent tuxedo and a smattering of stacked bobby pins.
As predicted, the duo once again re-set the bar at Noah‘s London premiere on Monday. Jennifer wore an absurdly beautiful high-neck Alexander McQueen gown from the house’s Fall 2014 collection; take note of the bodice’s intricate detail and frayed organza skirt. Then there’s Emma, who looked nearly bridal in her one-of-a-kind Ralph Lauren Collection halter gown. We’ve gotten used to seeing the 23-year-old actress in moodier looks, and this slight change-up was delightful.
Now that Noah‘s been released worldwide, does this mean we’ve seen the last of their red carpet tour de force? Together, yes, perhaps—but they both have other movies in the works for 2014, meaning all is not lost!
