If you’ve yet to check out the array of beautifully-made, affordably-priced basics at Everlane, you don’t know what you’re missing. From silk button-ups to buttery-soft cashmere to perfect weekender bags, the e-tailer stocks wardrobe essentials free of the usual markups associated with big brands and brick-and-mortar shops. Still, every so often, Everlane graces the streets of Manhattan in pop-up form, which it’s cleverly dubbed "Not a Shop." And for this second installment, it’s making its wares customizable.
Starting on Friday, November 30, Everlane‘s pop-up at 74 Gansevoort Street will host a trio of workshops, so shoppers can add a personal touch to their purchases. Until December 8, for instance, visitors can add suede elbow patches in one of three colors to their cashmere sweaters. On December 4, craftsmen will stitch up a men’s tie from the fabric of your choosing. And on December 5, Everlane’s artisans will lead a belt-making tutorial—monogramming included. In keeping with the company’s accessible mantra, the workshops all cost $40 or less to attend, so head over to Everlane.com and RSVP before they book up! You might just walk away from these on-site experiences with a perfect—not to mention personalized—holiday gift.
The Everlane Workshop at 74 Gansevoort Street is open from November 30 through December 9, from 11 am to 8 pm daily.
