We love a good fashion exhibition and Prada‘s next museum venture sounds supremely unique. The Italian house has teamed up with artist Francesco Vezzoli and Rem Koolhaas’ own design group (he’s the architect behind Prada’s breathtaking flagship boutiques) to create a pop-up gallery in Paris.
The "24h Museum" opens tomorrow, fittingly, for a single day. And while the project has been curiously described as a "non-existent museum," it will indeed contain artwork—more specifically, contemporary interpretations of classical sculpture that reference modern-day divas. We’re hoping that means marble busts of Prada-loving celebs like Carey Mulligan and Nicole Kidman. Fun!
Tonight, the label’s hosting an invite-only dinner to celebrate the temporary exhibit (UPDATED: see photos from the event below). After that, the museum will host its very own nightclub—which you’ll be able to witness via livestream this evening at 24hoursmuseum.com. We can’t wait to see Anna Dello Russo bust a move next to, well, a bust of herself.
