When H & M announced earlier this spring that it was working on a new luxury line, there was a lot of excited kerfuffle followed by several update-free months. This morning, however, the Swedish company finally revealed two key details: it will be called "& Other Stories" and debut both in Europe and online next year.
Unlike the brand’s other labels, such as COS and H&M, & Other Stories will only feature women’s products, with a special emphasis on accessories. "& Other Stories is about bringing everything she can wear into one place, focusing on the whole look," H&M recently said in a statement. "We believe shoes, bags, jewelry, lingerie and beauty are key for styling and just as important as clothing."
Unfortunately, it seems we’re going to have to wait a little longer to see what the actual products look like. The only image released is this mood board we spotted on the Telegraph, with an eclectic assortment of images we can’t really imagine as clothes. And, once we DO see what the line looks like, there’s also the matter of finding a way to shop it. As mentioned above, there is definitely going to be a e-commerce platform. But we’re dubious as to whether it’s going to offer US shipping—especially since H&M STILL doesn’t. We’ll keep you updated, but in the meantime, you should hope for the best and plan on eBay.
