We’re so pumped about the fact that affordable Canadian brand Joe Fresh is finally sweeping the States. Last week, the retail giant opened a sprawling two-story flagship at Fifth Avenue and 43rd St—the chain’s fourth NYC location thus far—and Lauren and I popped over during our lunch break to check it out up close.
True to the company’s signature orange hue, the new outpost (located in a 1954 landmark modernist building, no less) is jam-packed with color. Sweaters, shorts, denim and silky button-ups in every shade of the rainbow abound on both floors, though it was a drop-waisted neoprene tulip dress that immediately caught our eye. The shoe offerings were particularly strong as well—we especially liked the blue-and-white striped lounge slippers and the chunky flatforms. And while Lauren flipped though racks of ridiculously well-priced workout pieces, I made a beeline for the stacks of short-sleeved sweaters with colorful trim at the sleeves. We were so caught up in the clothes, in fact, that we almost forgot to check out the beauty selection—which offers colorful lip glosses, nail polishes and much more. The kicker? Almost nothing in the entire store costs more than $100, with most pieces priced around the $50 mark.
Check out some snaps of the flagship’s interior (and available goodies) below, and be sure to stop by if you live in the tri-state area.
