While Jason Wu’s collections are classic and ladylike—nipped-waist dresses and tie-neck blouses are his signatures—his approach to advertising is a little more offbeat.
For his first foray into campaigns, WWD reports that Wu will unleash "wild postings" of images like the one at left across New York City.
We’re not exactly sure how and when the images will surface (flyers? billboards? screenprinted t-shirts worn during a flash mob?), but if they help keep Wu’s business strong, we’re on board. Because even if we won’t be buying his jaw-droppingly beautiful pieces (like Michelle Williams’ Golden Globes gown) anytime soon, we’re already eager for Jason’s next mass-market collaboration.
