When news first broke in October that Jeremy Scott was to take the reins at Moschino as creative director, succeeding Rossella Jardini after nearly 20 years, we were extremely, extremely excited. Not only are both brands (Jeremy’s being his famously colorful namesake collection) known for their eccentric-meets-feminine designs, but we figured Jeremy’s involvement and influence would rocket the Italian fashion label to a high-fashion place it hasn’t truly been since the 1990s.
And boy, were we right. Jeremy began gradually unveiling Pre-Fall 2014 lookbook shots on his Instagram, which the fashion set promptly lusted over until we got our hands on the full roster of photos. In a cheeky mix of gold hardware, quilted leather and logo-lettered accessories, Jeremy has crafted a luxury line that harkens back to Moschino’s days of celebrated streetwear—which we suspect will soon take its prominent place in the street style hall of fame.
Click through above now to see the entire collection—but get ready for some serious sartorial envy first. Congratulations, Jeremy Scott!
