When I first heard that Jessica Chastain had changed her hairstyle this morning, I held my breath. Though I’m all for a celebrity trying out an experimental beauty look, like a pixie cut or dramatic color change, I can’t imagine Chastain with anything but long, lush red hair. Luckily, her latest transformation didn’t involve a major chop or foils, but instead a set of subtle yet completely envy-inducing bangs.
According to Chastain’s Instagram, her bombshell style, which was created by Renato Campora, was inspired by none other than Brigitte Bardot. Campora, who’s the hair genius behind other famous redheads like Julianne Moore and Amy Adams, is known for his signature retro aesthetic, so Chastain was clearly in great hands when she opted for this ’60s-inspired hairdo. What do you think of her new look?
