It looks like Louis Vuitton isn’t the only big brand in the market for a new creative director these days. According to WWD, Jil Sander’s head of house also presented her last collection for the label last season and is now leaving for "personal reasons."
This might not be the eponymous founder’s first time walking away from the company she created in 1968—she’s left and returned twice since 1999—but it’s still very surprising. Seeing as how she just reclaimed her position a little over a year ago, we kind of thought she’d stick around longer. On the upside, though, it’ll be interesting to see who gets the gig she’s giving up. You guys got any good suggestions?
