Yesterday at their store on Howard Street, Jil Sander previewed the fall collection for their Navy label. I’ve already placed a personal order in my mind for everything—I’m not exaggerating.
This collection felt slightly more feminine than those of seasons past, which normally I’d want to shy away from—but here, it was done so perfectly. There were collared dresses with full skirts in flattering silhouettes sure to make you look impossibly put-together the minute you put them on. The platforms were too good to be true, and the label’s sleek leather satchels came in every size and color you could ever want. They’re the kind you’ll carry every day, all year long. And then there was this one print that I swear I’d cover my entire apartment in, from curtains to sofa. Until then, I’ll settle for wearing it in trouser form.
Waiting until July to snatch up these goods will be super tough. Did I mention that the line is somewhat more affordable? Dresses range from $700 to $900. It’s not exactly a steal, but it’s something.
