Forbes released its "30 Under 30" list of young people making major differences in today’s world. And while real estate moguls, musicians, bankers and tech whizzes all made the cut, so did a number of fashion fixtures.
Featured alongside Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Chris Benz and Pamela Love is Joseph Altuzarra, the talented 28-year-old who won this year’s CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund. Forbes‘ Michael Noer sat down with Altuzarra to discuss the progression of his "fairytale career" thus far and it’s absolutely worth watching. The designer admits that the fashion industry "doesn’t really require that much education upfront," talks about how integral his assistant gigs at Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler and Givenchy were to his trajectory and explains why he wants to make older women feel incredibly sexy. He even gets a bit flustered when asked how he would define the word "success." Check it out below.
