Aside from being one-half of the #WorldsMostTalkedAboutCouple, raising a one-year-old and, oh, also making music, Kanye West definitely doesn’t have a lot on his plate. It’s easy being Yeezy, you know what I mean?
OK, maybe not quite. But in all seriousness, the dude is back to his fashion-designing ways with a brand-new menswear line—his second in partnership with A.P.C. He revealed his first collection of simple basics for the Paris-based line last year; his new fall lineup includes fur outerwear and knits, too. Set to go on sale July 17, the collaboration features an undeniable military edge and the majority of the pieces, once again, feel thoroughly unisex.
According to Style.com, West and his A.P.C. partner in crime—the brand’s proprietor, Jean Touitou—hit a bit of a (predictable) snafu towards the end of the creative process. Says Touitou: “What happened at the end is exactly what he does to his own records, so I didn’t take it personally—like when it’s something he makes, and 10 days before it drops, and then he wants to start from scratch.”
Gentlemen (and ladies, if you so choose), mark your calendars for July 17. Because if there’s one thing Kanye knows how to do, it’s how to make something sell out—immediately.
