Kate Middleton revisited native-Canuck designer Erdem for her arrival in Quebec this morning. The dress, from the now England-based designer’s pre-fall collection, stays true to Kate’s form: a body-skimming knee-length shift in royal blue. Another staid choice if it weren’t for the rosette lace neckline, an echo of the peek-a-boo detail on the Duchess’ McQueen wedding gown. Paired with sapphire and diamond earrings to match her storied engagement ring, the color once again highlights her dark hair. She wore the same LK Bennett nude platform pumps from day one–a sign that perhaps, the royal couple are subject to the same strict luggage requirements as us plebians. Probably not.
