On the fifth day of their North American tour, Kate Middleton opted for a 1920s-style cream and navy cable knit dress with a pussy-bow neckline by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. Middleton’s look is the same–knee-length, body-skimming but demure shift dresses with simple accessories (navy suede heels in this case)–and the formula clearly works for her. While she isn’t wowing us with her style, we can certainly appreciate a young woman who is choosing appropriate hemlines without sacrificing style.
