Kate Middleton must be decently adjusted to seeing her royal grandmother-in-law on a regular basis now, but we imagine selecting an outfit for the occasion never gets any easier. Hence, why re-wearing tried-and-true classics seems like a standard, safe bet. And while we can’t see the party dress that the Duchess of Campaign wore to Queen Elizabeth II‘s annual pre-Christmas lunch today, we’re excited to have spotted this particular red coat in the front seat.
Middleton first wore this knee-length, ruby red Armani number in 2006 to an official state parade, which she then repeated earlier this year (see below!) on her Scotland tour with knee-high boots and black gloves. We’ve been seriously impressed with the princess’ impeccable style as of late (namely: a Roland Mouret gown, velvet pants and a very special tiara), and we can’t wait to see the rest of her look.
