Kate Moss‘ 25-plus years in the modeling biz have yielded a résumé that is as impressive as it is complete. From runway shows to campaigns and glossy magazine editorials to, most recently, even a Playboy cover, Mossy’s done it all—all except, weirdly, front an Alexander McQueen campaign, according to Style.com. It’s especially jaw-dropping when you consider Kate’s close relationship with the late designer and fashion house as a whole.
But, at long last, that all changes with Alexander McQueen’s brand new Spring 2014 ads. Shot by Steven Klein, the eight campaign images showcase Kate the Great in a haunting variety of gladiator-inspired black leather and gold embellishments while flaunting a short, canary yellow ‘do. It’s kind of like Julius Caesar meets S&M—which is a strange image we immediately regret planting into your brains.
We’re over the moon that Kate has finally crossed Alexander McQueen off her campaign bucket list. Click through above now to see all the history-making shots.
