Following in the footsteps of Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz, super-est of supermodels Kate Moss has been chosen to front Mango‘s new crop of ads. Shot by Terry Richardson, the images show Glossy Mossy in a more relaxed, casual light than usual. And interestingly, the Barcelona high street store was drawn to the British beauty in part because of her notoriously troubled history. "She had a turbulent past, which she has put behind her to continue being a supermodel," a Mango spokeswoman told WWD. "And [she's] recently married and become a mother." Who doesn’t love a good comeback tale?
In the first of two shots unveiled this morning, Moss wears a sweet pleated dress, lightweight moto jacket and ’60s-style Jean Shrimpton-esque makeup. In another, she’s got on a simple black tee and loose tuxedo-striped trousers. Do you prefer the great Kate in feminine or masculine mode?
