Looks like the rumors are true: Kelly Cutrone is indeed replacing Vogue editor-at-large André Leon Talley as a judge on America’s Next Top Model. The show, which is currently running an "All Stars" cycle, has recently become more about self-branding than actual modeling, making the People’s Revolution founder an inspired choice. No stranger to reality shows (Kelly has appeared on MTV hits The Hills, The City and starred in Bravo’s Kell On Earth), Cutrone is known for her fashion world connections and no-nonsense brand of advice.
"I am a huge fan of America’s Next Top Model and have watched the show for years," Cutrone said in an interview. "Having worked in various aspects of the fashion industry over the course of my career, I am excited for this new opportunity and hope to bring a different perspective to the show."
Although we’re a little bummed to say goodbye to André which his lavish capes and talk of "Sah-Lawns!," it’s intriguing to think what Kelly will bring to the table. Our bets are that she makes a contestant cry by the end of the very first show.
What do you think? Are you excited for the change-up in judges? Who would you like to see on AMTM?
