Soak it all in, guys. After months—literal months—of Kanye West campaigning to catapult his lady love Kim Kardashian into the ranks of high-fashion fame with a Vogue cover, it actually happened.
The couple, due to wed this summer, will appear on the magazine’s April cover along with something equally unbelieveable, a hashtag: "#WorldsMostTalkedAboutCouple" is splayed front and center in the glossy’s familar sans serif font. Annie Leibovitz photographed the wedding-themed cover in addition to the dreamy cover story itself, which features Kim in a variety of very bridal white gowns and holding baby North in some shots.
Regardless of your presumably impassioned viewpoint of Kim and the Kardashians, it’s difficult to argue that Kim doesn’t look stunning here. It’s all but guaranteed that this issue will sell like wildfire, in addition to legitimizing the Kardashians in a way that makes Kendall Jenner‘s month of modeling stardom seem like merely the tip of the iceberg.
