Anyone who’s ever seen an episode of The Hills, shopped at Kohl’s or tuned into our September 2012 FABB conference knows that Lauren Conrad loves fashion and design. Just not at the expense of our planet. And that’s the driving reason behind her recent team-up with eco-friendly accessories company BlueAvocado.
Last summer, the pair released XO(eco), a range of travel totes, lunch bags and beauty product holders made from Reprive (a totally green fabric derived from recycled plastic bottles). Available in cute patterns like "birds on a wire" (just like it sounds!) and "tuxedo stripes" (so Marc Jacobs Spring 2013), each one is created to make life easier while reducing one’s carbon footprint. That’s great news for us, because we plan to buy the entire line—starting with our five favorite styles below.
