Animal prints are currently considered neutrals, more or less—and we were excited to see these bold patterns all over the Fall 2013 runways last weekend. On Sunday alone, we spotted (pun intended) leopard looks we loved at no fewer than three different shows.
At DKNY, wildcat prints were done in a multitude of colorways—classic black-and-tan, cherry red and even pink—and appeared on oversized pullovers, cocoon coats, leggings and handbags. Thakoon, meanwhile, showed cross-front furs and cropped jackets in the playful pattern. And at Diane von Furstenberg, leopard print got the Studio 54 treatment, shown in the form of bow-tied blouses, tapered trousers and texture-blocked dresses.
Whether you prefer your leopard in a classic or colorful palette, splashed on fur or silk, there’s no question the glamorous print’s going to be huge next fall. Click through to shop some purr-fect pieces you should stock up on now to stay ahead of the trend.
