Obsessed with J Brand? Then you’ll love its co-founder’s new line, Crippen. After selling her premium denim brand in 2010, designer Susie Crippen embarked on a worldwide adventure, visiting places like Turkey, Spain, India and France, gaining fashion inspiration along the way. At each destination, she contemplated her next professional move. Thankfully, that wound up being a new label of her very own.
In 2011, Susie turned her Los Angeles garage into a design studio, hired a team and started creating the cutest, most effortlessly cool pieces (with lots of denim mixed in, of course). The very first collection just launched for Spring 2013, and we can’t get enough of the easy dresses, oversized blouses and ’70s-inspired jeans. With an online shop launching in just a few weeks on Avenue32, you’ll soon be able to snatch up some of Crippen’s chic spring staples online. Plus, a number of specialty boutiques around the country already have the goods in stock.
Check out Crippen’s stockist list here, and click through the gallery to peep our favorite looks from her first collection. Do you love it as much as we do?
