Lizzy Caplan is hilariously pretentious in this new short film featuring Vena Cava‘s lower-priced line, Viva Vena!. In an overly serious voice—and a deadpan expression to match—she explains how she thinks in French and listens to old records from the ’60s (because they’re so much more authentic) and how her close circle of girlfriends are so inspiring and successful and no, they aren’t competing at all.
The thing is, even if Lizzy wasn’t purposely poking fun at the stereotypically hipster fashion film, we’d love this mini-movie just the same. Each of her outfits look just like the kind of can’t-tell-if-it’s-designer-or-vintage things the impossibly cool girls she’s mimicking would wear. And hey, a teensy bit pretentious or not, they always look good.
Check it out below for a good giggle, and learn more about the line on Vivavena.com.
