The Scene: London’s east end has a new slick shopping center, and the show took up an expansive corporate floor of it.
The Music: 90s-style techno music slowed down and re-imagined as classical.
The Look: Sporty mod. The inspiration was peeling wallpaper—as seen on the geometric flaps and folds of short shifts and aline skirts—and slick 60’s girls. Flower power also ruled strong: bright appliqué flowers covered coats and boxy blouses, and the front of denim hot pants (a nod to his collaboration with J Brand?)
The Pieces We Want: The stiff a-line skirts, the intricate, hand-beaded floral embellished box tops, and the preppy tennis sweaters that were sexier than anything we could have DIY’d ourselves.
