How appropriate that the ageless superstar who once sang "Lucky Star" is today’s Lucky Stars subject. That’s some meta Madonna magic, if you ask us.
We tuned into last night’s Super Bowl just in time to catch the main event: the Queen of Pop’s halftime performance. Madge rolled out an amazing, high-energy medley that combined some of her greatest hits, from "Vogue" to "Music" to "Like a Prayer" to her new single "Give Me All Your Luvin’." There were even cameos from M.I.A., Nicki Minaj, Cee-Lo Green and LMFAO to round everything out.
Even more impressive than Madonna’s backbends and flips, however—we still can’t believe the woman’s 53—were her amazing outfits. All were custom-designed for the star by Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy, and while sequins by the yard and gilded headpieces might not translate too well to real-life wear, we loved the Cleopatra inspiration and Roman flourishes. Check out our likeminded finds below, all of which are totally appropriate for offstage wear.
