Starting this fall, Madonna‘s original fans can shop her style without visiting the junior’s section. The singer, who’s "Material Girl" collection launched for teenagers in 2010, is now working on a new, more mature, line of shoes, called "Truth or Dare." The range is aimed toward woman between the ages of 27 and 50, inspired by dance and will includes over 60 styles, priced between $89 and $349. Arianne Phillips, the pop icon’s stylist, is the label’s creative consultant, but Madonna remains very involved.
"Her fingers are really on this brand," Phillips told Footwear News at WWD. "The first thing I did was remind her of all the shoes she wore over the years, and we took the styles that we can’t live without. You can always depend on her to bring her style and provocateur quality, but she also has a very feminine perspective."
The three heels to the left are part of Madge’s upcoming collection and they totally remind us of her Desperately Seeking Susan days. Although we’d avoid wearing them with an acid-washed denim jacket (unless it’s Halloween night and we’re dressing as…Madonna), we think they could look very sexy and modern paired with a sleek cutout black dress a la Rooney Mara. What do you think? Will you buy anything from the pop superstar’s new shoe line?
