When it hits stores on Thursday, March 8, Marni for H&M will sell out as fast as Mary Katrantzou for Topshop did last week or Jason Wu for Target did last month. That’s not a predicition; it’s just a fact. (Alright, it’s a prediction. But a very good one.)
If you’re hell-bent on nabbing a piece from the collaboration, your best bet might be skipping the line outside H&M and heading over to Marni.com instead. That’s the only place you’ll be able to find these limited edition hats, which are handmade, range from $210 to $270 and—perhaps most importantly—are obviously, clearly hallmarks of the collaboration.
Or, you know, you could shop them on your iPad while waiting in line at H&M….
