Last year brought a few major changes for Miranda Kerr. In 2013, the Australian supermodel chose not to renew her Victoria’s Secret contract, continued to promote her organic skincare line and landed an international gig as ShopStyle’s campaign face. Now, in 2014, it seems the 30-year-old will be venturing even farther from Victoria’s Secret territory: next month, she’ll be releasing a song with Irish singer/dancer Bobby Fox.
The tune in question? A super-swanky cover of Elvis Presley’s "You’re the Boss," which will launch exclusively on iTunes next month. Miranda will reportedly sing the female part of the duet, as originally voiced by Ann-Margret. "She didn’t take herself too seriously," a spokesperson for Fox told the Daily Mail. "She just got into character and had a ball recording it."
We may be getting ahead of ourselves here, but do we have a music video to look forward to in the future? Fox Instagrammed a photo of himself and Miranda on Saturday, along with the caption, "I convinced @mirandakerr to record a little song with me for my album." And, well, the duo looks exceptionally fantastic together.
We can’t wait to hear what the model/beauty guru/songstress has in store for us come March!
