Over the past couple of years, Rent the Runway has served as an easy way to wear straight-off-the-catwalk designer pieces without committing to their four-figure price tags. Now, the high-end rental site is getting even more exclusive with its first-ever designer collaboration. The partner? Narciso Rodriguez.
Rodriguez has dressed countless A-listers since launching his label in 1997, finding particular favor with women who love classic, streamlined looks (including Michelle Obama and Claire Danes). To create a four-piece capsule collection for Rent the Runway, the designer delved into his archives. The Cut Out gown, available in both red and blue, is reminiscent of the dress worn by Jennifer Aniston on her 2008 Vogue cover. And both the Tailor Made gown and Ivory Contrast dress, with their two-tone black-and-white palettes, recall a look once worn by Kate Winslet.
Narciso’s dresses will set you back thousands of dollars each, but his Cut Out gown for Rent the Runway can yours—for four days—for $400. Meanwhile, the Tailor Made gown rents for $350 and the Ivory Contrast style for just $275. If you’ve got a big-ticket event ahead, we can’t imagine a better way to boost your confidence than by channeling the sexiest woman in Hollywood. Click here to get renting.
