Nest Fragrances, creator of the luxe candles in everybody’s apartment, is now expanding into your shower with body wash and body cream. The move was inspired by conversations via social media, says founder and CEO Laura Slatkin. "Over the past few years, we’ve been talking with our customers through various social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, and we’ve received hundreds of requests to develop body care and personal fragrances in our top scents," she says. Granted, that’s a bit of a novel source of inspiration, with NEST Fragrances mastery of social media (they tweet with the best of them), it was bound to happen sooner or later.
Curious about the scents? They’ll be modeled after Nest‘s most successful fragrances: bamboo, grapefruit, Moroccan amber, moss and mint, orange blossom and wasabi pear. The body wash and body cream will be available this month at Neiman Marcus shops, Bergdorf Goodman and the Nest Fragrances website for $28 and $32, respectively.
