Fans of Equipment‘s Crayola-colored silk button-ups and shirtdresses, prepare to rejoice: our eagle-eyed editor John snapped the photo at left during his morning commute through SoHo in downtown NYC. On Wooster Street between Prince and Spring Streets, to be precise.
Yes, that’s a mid-construction storefront you’re looking at, and it’s announcing the arrival of the relaunched European shirt company’s very first brick-and-mortar store in the US. And while the label is currently stocked at many (if not most) of the department stores and multi-brand boutiques we frequent, we’re stoked that it will soon have a shop to call its own. With so many colorways on offer, we’re guessing the team will stick with minimalist décor and sharp, architectural lines inside—after all, that’d be very French of them.
