The following is a guest post from our friends at The Beauty Department.
Covering dark circles under our eyes is the quickest and most effective way that makeup really makes a difference. We get so many emails asking what method and products to specifically use, and I’m happy to share.
For cream concealer stick, I use Clea de Peau Concealer. It’s the industry standard for undereye concealing, as in if I didn’t have it in my kit, I might as well not even show up for a job in this town! It’s because it actually covers and doesn’t crease. It’s an investment but mine lasts almost a year.
For highlighting liquid concealer, I used YSL Touche Eclat, the other industry standard when it comes to undereyes, this time for highlighting and brightening the area. It’s pricey too but there’s a reason why it’s the best…
For translucent powder, I used Shiseido Translucent Pressed Powder because it’s ultra fine, which is key in the undereye area to set it without getting it cakey.
