The Vibe: Lady Gaga was the star of this show for a reason: Many of the latex and sheer looks were only suitable for the stage at Madison Square Garden. The first collection designed by Gaga’s stylist, Nicola Formichetti, drew inspiration from Mugler’s classic shapes with a focus on the female form that is sure to get buzz, but wearable? Not so much.
The Accessories: Towering platforms that only Gaga could fully master on the runway.
What We Loved: The black jacket that opened the show is a nod to Mr. Mugler and would go easily with a cute little skirt or a pair of jeans.
