Yesterday night, the Whitney Museum in NYC offered a sneak peek of its new Yayoi Kusama retrospective exhibit to a celeb-heavy crowd. The vast majority of the evening’s guests wore Louis Vuitton—appropriate, considering the French label’s brand-new collaboration with Kusama. Some, like Diane Kruger and Dianna Agron, chose sweet satin looks from Vuitton’s Resort 2013 collection, while Lauren Santo Domingo and Harley Viera Newton opted for stunning lacy creations from the house’s memorable Spring 2012 lineup. Nobody, interestingly, dressed in polka-dotted pieces from the Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama collab, making us wonder who might be the first to publicly debut one of those looks.
